Hello Everybody, and Welcome to Judy's House.
I have accepted that, one day, I too will age. I've also decided to put it off as long as possible. So, I exercise, watch my diet, etc. But some strange things have happened of late. For example:
When I sit down in a comfy chair, a strange sound erupts. It takes me a moment to realize that this involuntary "aaahuuugghhh" has erupted from me.
The sound that is heard when I arise from my seat is even more startling. "Yeeeeuuuhhhhhfff" I mutter as my pets flee the room in fright. I walk through my house slowly, praying that circulation will soon return to my limbs. My children ask, "Why are you limping, Mommy?" I tell them to go get a cookie.
My husband has left his dirty socks on the floor. Rather than attempt to pick them up, I choose instead to divorce him. "Isn't that a bit extreme?" you say? No MORE extreme than trying to fend off the aging process with injections of serums and extensive surgeries.
So, perhaps I can't stop the aging process. Perhaps if I accept aging it'll be easier. Perhaps I'll age gracefully. Perhaps............Ah, heck. I forgot to take my medication.
Wishing you ageless beauty, and beautiful aging,
